Overall, I think the blogging experiment has been successful. The quality and effort have varied a lot, but I could see that some students did get into it. I got some feedback that some students didn't see the point, so it's my responsibility to make the point clear to them.

- I am a hobbyist bookbinder based in the San Francisco Bay Area. The first bookbinding classes I took were at UC Santa Cruz Extension about 2000. Subsequently I took numerous classes at the San Francisco Center for the Book, including medieval binding with Tom Conroy and Nicholas Yeager. I was also privileged to take the board and clasp intensive from Jim Croft in remote North Idaho in 2008.
